Volunteers Packing Food

Community Free Food Pantry Program

In collaboration with the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary, Kingdom Coffee, and our Cambrian neighbors, Pathway Church offers a free food pantry/support program that is available to all who are in need. Everyone in the community, regardless of faith, gender or race is welcome.

When can I come?

If you require emergency assistance with food, simply email us to book an emergency visit to our pantry! You can get an emergency visit once every three months!

If you need help for a longer period of time, we do offer long term food supports. In order to join the program, an intake interview (~30 mins) is required.

How does it work?

Food pick-up appointments are 30 minutes long, and during that time you can shop on your own in our pantry! One of our volunteers will show you how the room works when you come to visit!

What do I need to get access to the food pantry?

All we ask is that you reach out to us before you come and make an appointment via email or phone call (see below)

We do not ask for IDs, proof of income or payment.

What days are you open?

We are open two weeks each month, always on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Why does this program exist?

This program operates to help Calgary's families receive food they otherwise may not have been able to obtain on their own.

We hope to help not only with food, but by sharing resources available to all in the city.

How can I help?

We invite our community to come together as we seek to ensure that everyone in our neighborhood has access to food without worrying about tomorrow. We are always accepting donations for our Free Food Pantry!
