Christmas Toy Drive

This is our fourth annual Community Toy Drive! Let's spread joy together while collecting toys for families in need in Cambrian Heights, Rosemont, and more! Come visit with Santa and join him on his sleigh when you bring a toy or cash donation (suggested $20 value). Stick around afterwards for fun and refreshments! Let's spread joy together!

When is the Toy Drive?

Saturday, November 30th, starting at 11am and ending at 1pm.

What is happening on that day?

and of course, Sleigh Rides!

 

Is a donation required to go on a sleigh ride with Santa?

Yes. Either a donation of a toy or cash (suggested $20) is required to hop on the ride with Santa (This is a cash only event).

You will receive a ticket once you make the donation that you will use to get on the sleigh!

How do the food and drinks work?

Hot Drinks and Hot Dogs will be available by cash donation!

 

Where are the toys going?

Toys will be distributed to community families in need. 

 

What type of toys can be donated?

New toys in unopened boxes can be donated. We will not accept used toys or Christmas decorations. Toys should be unwrapped.

 

What will the cash be used for?

Cash donations will be used to purchase necessary toys for neighbourhood schools. In 2021, the cash donated was used to purchase legos for classrooms with children differently-abled to help with motor control activities.

In 2022, cash donations were used to purchase toys for immigrant families and families in the neighbourhood school.

In 2023, cash donations were used to purchase lego sets for our community school special needs classrooms, and toys were donated to multiple families in our food pantry program.​
