Together we CAN
Community Kitchen Food Drive
Join us in helping local families with our Community Kitchen Food Drive on Saturday May 27th! Just fill a bag with non-perishable food and leave it on your doorstep!
Frequently Asked Questions:
How does the food get picked up?
On Saturday, May 27th, there will be a team of volunteers canvassing the community picking up donations. All you need to do is put the bag filled with donated food on your front doorstep and the volunteers will collect it and bring it to the community food pantry where it will be distributed to those in need.
Make sure to put out your donation in the morning between 9AM and 11AM for it to get picked up!
You can also drop off any donation at Pathway Church (240 Cardiff Drive NW).

If you are unsure if your donation will be picked up, feel free to email cet@pathwaychurch.ca

If I want to donate fresh food, can I do that?
Unfortunately you cannot donate fresh food, but you can donate money to be contributed towards gift cards that are given out so the recipients can purchase fresh food for themselves.

Who is eligible to access the food pantry?
Anyone who is in need of food!

I know someone outside of Cambrian Heights that needs food. Can they get food from the pantry?
YES! We welcome everyone willing to come!

When can people in need collect food to bring home with them?
As often as once a week! The church pantry is open on Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays during the day. All we ask is that you call ahead of time (403-456-6860) or email admin@pathwaychurch.ca to make an appointment!

To receive a bag as a person in need, does it cost anything?
Nothing at all, it is free!
